Hospitality for almost 100 years
Since 1926 the Stumbeck family has been leading the Unterwirt through the turmoil of the times. The success story began with Karl Stumbeck, who, together with his wife Hildegard, expanded the former tavern into a hotel.
By the way, Karl Stumbeck was mayor of Reit im Winkl from 1945 to 1966 and thus made a significant contribution to the development of the municipality of Reit im Winkl.
