Our menu lists classics of Bavarian cuisine as well as interpretations of international cuisine. We are liable to quality - therefore meat from humane animal husbandry, seasonal vegetables fresh from the market and true ingredients - prepared with love and skill - form the basis of our kitchen art.
Holidays with half-board
As our holiday guest you can choose from the whole culinary range that our restaurant in Reit im Winkl has to offer. Every day you will have the option to choose between half-board and our extensive à la carte menu. Enjoy a 3-course menu or an individually selected menu to round off you perfect day in the Chiemgau.
For half-board with a 3-course menu of your choice, we charge a surcharge on the room price according to the current price list. Over Christmas and New Year's Eve, from 24.12. until 06.01. half-board is not bookable - you choose from our à la carte menu.
New from March 17th 2024:
Half board will be expanded to a 4-course menu and included in the room price. Please note the published summer prices 2024 in this regard.
Celebrate in the restaurant at the Hotel Unterwirt
You plan a festivity? We offer a suitable frame for every kind of celebration: intimate family celebration, big anniversary or formal business celebration. Up to 300 guests can be accommodated in the various dining rooms such as the parlour, the old hall, the porch, the leather salon or the vinotheque.
Next to the restaurant, we have another special location for you: our Unterwirtsalm. Celebrate with up to 80 persons in the rustic and secluded atmosphere of a true alpine hut, only a few steps from the main building.
The big restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere at every time of the season: In winter, you will watch the dancing snowflakes outside while you warm up at the crackling fireplace, and in summer you will immediately find your favourite spot in the light-flooded rooms or on the panoramic sun terrace.

Opening hours: Monday - Sunday from 7:00am to 11:00pm. Warm kitchen from 12:00pm to 1:45pm as well as from 6:00pm to 8:45pm. Snacks are available from 1:45pm to 6:00pm.
