Summer holidays with child care and youth programme
For the young holiday guests, the tourism association Reit im Winkl will come up with a special adventure programme. Children and teenagers from 8 to 18 years can look forward to a diverse experience programme which shows how exciting holidays in the mountains can be: a river will be crossed, a GPS rallye mastered and finally, a stop at the bathing lake will bring refreshing delight.
Your offspring between the age of 3 and 8 can join the “forest snails”. The children’s group is guided by professional pedagogues who will show the children the adventures of nature: Climbing on the mini parcours, collecting forest treasures and making souvenirs, discovering the fairy-tale forest and a lot more.
With the Reit im Winkl Inclusiv Card, the children’s programme is free of course!
Experiences for parents and children in summer
Also, together as a family you can experience a lot of things in Reit im Winkl. How about a hike to an alpine hut, pony riding or simply a walk around the village? And at the village fairs in the middle of the village you can see how the locals like to celebrate.
For the very small ones there is a buggy & play adventure path with different stations such as the fairy-tale forest, a stone labyrinth and the magic water. If needed, you can rent a terrain buggy at the sports shop Dorner in Tiroler Straße for a small fee.
Family ski holidays in the winter
The ski schools in Reit im Winkl will have suitable offers for children of every age group. Courses for alpine skiing, snowboarding or cross-country skiing and also all rental equipment can be booked in one package.
Tobogganing, snowball fights, drawing angels into the snow: For the simplest of all winter activities you will only have to step out of the door at the Hotel Unterwirt. Right next to our hotel there is our local mountain which is also perfect for sledding and for playing and romping.
Playroom in the cellar: Let’s have some fun
Also at the Hotel Unterwirt, boredom will be hard to find. The meeting place for youngsters and those young at heart can be found in the cellar. Here you will find billiards, table tennis and table football. The play cellar is spacious enough and optimal for teenagers and children to retreat from the grown-ups, to laugh and to find playmates for a game of table tennis, billiards or table football.
