In winter, the Hausberg mountain, which is right next-door to Unterwirt, is attractive for skiing or sledging.

During the summer holidays, the free “Kids activ” children’s programme offers lots to do in Reit im Winkl. Large street festivals in the centre of the village with a high wire garden, trampoline, craft tent, treasure hunt, face painting and many more attractions or fun family mountain walks, pony rides and carriage rides allow no time for boredom!
